Colette Maier completed her bachelor's degree in Speech and Language Therapy in Trinity College Dublin, Ireland in 1992. She has been living and working in New Zealand since 2003. Colette has experience in the management of communication and swallowing difficulties in both children and adults. In addition to her clinical work, Colette provides professional supervision to other Speech and Language Therapists. She is actively involved in the New Zealand Speech-language Therapists' Association. She is chairperson of the NZSTA International Mutual Recognition Agreement Committee and the NZSTA Programme Accreditation Committee.
